The Progress of Chase: PSA Cut
It was now time to submit “Chase” to student film festivals. One of the biggest problems we had was deciphering what category it fit into. Certainly it wasn’t a narrative, but it wasn’t your average PSA either. In the end, we decided to cut it down to a minute and market it as a Public Service Announcement.
Cutting it down to a minute actually made it a lot better. For one thing, we got rid of some shots that simply did not work. We also did some color treatment to try to give it that “film” look. I think it came off pretty nicely.
“Chase (PSA Cut)” has been submitted to the Greenwich and Westport Youth Film Festivals.
